The appropriate value to choose for a series should correspond to&amp;#13;&amp;#10;the highest frequency at which the series may be observed. For example, sometimes there are series that may change have a new observation every two or three months but without a prefixed pattern. &amp;#13;&amp;#10;&amp;#13;&amp;#10;In this case the code &amp;quot;M&amp;quot; (=monthly) should be used (denoting the highest possible frequency that could be observed in the series).
